About Us
We are TROOP 310. Our Troop was founded in 2000 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church. We are in the Bogue Tuchenna District of the Istrouma Area Council.
Per the BSA guidelines our Troop is made up of boys who are "11 year's of age, or one who has completed the fifth grade, or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years of old, but is not yet 18 years old."
Boys come from many school and religious backgrounds.
We have 55 registered boys and 40 registered adults. Of the adults, over half are trained, and continue to take offered training, giving our boys the best possible Scouting experience.
Our boys participate in camping, swimming, hiking, biking, backpacking, and charity events.
Every year our Troop has a Jambalaya dinner to raise funds to offset the cost to our Scouts and purchase new equipment for the Troop.
We are unique in that we have a large number of boys make it to the highest rank a Scout can achieve of Eagle. Our Troop currently has 10 registered Eagle Scouts!
